What Do You Really Know About Blogging

Hello

I really wanted to tell you my personal story about blogging and my
adventures with my blog.  I’ve been online for just over two years
now I’m doing pretty well if I say so myself.  But if you can
believe it or not I didn’t have a blog set up until three months
ago.  All the top marketers had a blog why didn’t I you may ask?

Quite simply because I was scared, it was new territory, I had no
idea how to set one up, places to promote it, and what the heck to
do with it.  After a few attempts to set up my own blog and failing
miserably I finally sucked it up and asked my good friend Doug
Champigny and blogging expert to help me.

Doug walked me through setting up the blog step by step, he told me
how to get traffic and how to maximize the blog.  All I can say is
that I regret not having the blog much sooner, I am sure I left
thousands on the table and not to mention it’s a great venue to
keep in touch with subscribers.

Doug has now channeled his knowledge of blogging into one resource,
“How To Become A Blogging Pro”.  Doug has put years of experience
into a Master Plan.

With this amazing master plan, Doug will explain everything from:

**What the four best Web 2.0 bookmarking sites are for driving
incredible traffic in your direction…

**How best to build your blog…

**THE single best platform to blog from…

**How to choose a the keywords you’ll be focusing your blog
around…

**How to implement those keywords in a way that HELPS your readers
and YOUR in.come…

**Where Best To Host Your Blogs - and include a video showing you
how to set up your blog in 5 minutes on those sites…

**AND MUCH MORE

There is no reason, as I found out 3 months ago, that every
internet marketer should have a blog and a successful blog at that.
If you have been hesitating about putting your blog online then
let Doug teach you the ropes, don’t wait two years like I did.

Viral Marketing with Ease

You’ve probably heard the term viral marketing multiple times. Did you know what it meant? Viral marketing is essentially encouraging others to pass along your marketing message. With viral marketing, one person may tell two or three others about the offer and those people will each tell two or three people, and from there it just grows and grows. Viral marketing uses many different modes of transportation as well, such as ebooks, videos, articles, images, and even games, blogs.

So, how can you break into viral marketing? First, understand it. Viral marketing has been around since about 1996, when Jeffrey Rayport first used the term. He was a Harvard Business School professor. The first example of viral marketing on the Internet was Hotmail – they gave away email service for free, and put advertising messages in each email that was sent out from this free email account. As you can see from this example, the idea is to get your message out to as many people as possible, with very little effort on your part.

Today, social networking on the Internet makes viral marketing extremely easy. You simply find a few people who have what is known as an SNP or high social networking potential. Think for just a minute about all of those cute poems and such that are forwarded en-mass to everyone in someone’s address book. While this is annoying to many people, there are those who really enjoy this process of passing things along.

spending a dime.

——————————————————————————

How can you do this without appearing to be a spammer? Easy, get in on the ‘forward this along to everyone you know’ revolution. When you receive one of these email messages, add your own marketing message to the bottom of it – or even the top, and forward it along to everyone in your address book. Just make sure that you are not forwarding it to anyone who has asked that you not forward things of this nature.

Take advantage of the social networking sites, such as MySpace.com, in the form of video. You can simply create a video of interest to your target audience, and post it on your MySpace page. Hopefully, you’ve gone through the process of creating a large friends list. You can then broadcast that video to everyone on your friends list.

You can also take that video and place it on a site such as YouTube.com, tag it with your keywords, and let people’s interests lead the way. Make sure that you let it be known that others can use the video on their websites, as long as they don’t change it. Again, it must hold interest to your target market, or it won’t be successful.

Just by doing these three simple things, you will find out what the power of viral marketing is really all about, and just how easy it has become.

P.S. Watch this video and learn how you can begin to drive tons of traffic to your site and it won’t cost a cent.  Just a hint I am using one of the methods discussed in the video right now.

What Type Of Blogger Are You?

Hello

Today I want to discuss the blogging phenomenon, and
see what type of blogger you are - I divide all bloggers
into 3 categories - NBY (Not Blogging Yet), OB (occasional
blogger) and PB (Professional Blogger).

There are 70 million blogs online today, and thousands
more each day - yet many IMers STILL haven’t got their
first blog online yet. Are you an NBY? There’s a good
reason why NBY and newbie are phonetically similar - both
are marks of those new to the biz. Experienced big-dog
markters know there’s very little that has the power of
your own blog, especially tools that are available for no
outlay, like blogging is.

Are you liable to get thousands or tens of thousands
flocking to your blog each day? No. As an IMer, do you
care? Again, no. Because that’s not why you’re blogging;
you’re blogging to get your links spidered by the big
engines quickly, and to be able to use the Web 2.0 sites
to get people to your online empire and onto your lists.

On to OBs - you know it if you’re an OB, because you
find yourself feeling guilty over not posting to your
blog on a regular basis. oh ys, you DO have a blog or 2,
you just haven’t updated them in forever. It may be you’re
not sure what to write, it may be you’ve been too busy
with other stuff, or maybe you’ve just been lazy for the
last bit, who knows? The fact remains - you’re not liable
to change in a hurry, are you?

For OBs, it’s John Delavera to the rescue. John created
the ‘WordPress Blogs Auto Content Generator’ - a big name
for a simple little script that can ease your guilt - and
make your blog a lot more effective. You choose from the
millions of RSS feeds online, and the script adds info
from those other blogs to yours, keeping it updated with
fresh content up to once a day.

While it will never replace your own posts for driving
people to your sites, it can keep the engines coming
back to your blog over and over. Just be sure to choose
feeds with content written around the right keywords for
your sites… You can download the generator from:
On to PBs - Professional Bloggers. You’re running one,
or more likely a few blogs, your main one and some geared
to each niche you’re active in. You post to each once a
week or more, and usually more often to your main blog.
While the Generator above is fine for a few of your niches
you’re just dabbling in, you’d never settle for that on
your main blogs…

You ping the directories with each post, have a plugin
creating and updating your Google sitemaps, another to do
your technorati tags, and use your MyBlogLog community to
keep your audience growing - you’re serious about this and
are seeing all the benefits that go with it.

Well, time to kick it up another notch, then! Many think
Podcasting and Vlogging (video blogging) must be truly
difficult or require major outlays - and they think it’s
just to give a more personal touch to your blogs. Nope.
Both give you access to a whole new raft of directories the
blogging alone doesn’t reach, and you know what more access
to directories and Web 2.0 sites means - more visitors,
more exposure and more results across the board.

The PodPress plugin adds your audios to your blog to make
podcasts, and there’s a great resource about video blogging
from Liz Tomey, and this week you can download VideoBlogger
from our site at:

Review of Blogging To The Bank 2.0 ebook

It’s likely that you have come accross Rob Benwell’s Blogging
To The Bank 2. I just downloaded my copy and its an outstanding
product. I came accross this review of the product so I thought I
would share it with you.

By now I think most people in the world know about blogs.

What most don’t know as there is a great income to be made as well
for free.

Rob Benwell is only a mere 22 years old and has already made a
fortune using this method. Early last year he sharing his secrets
with the world in his highly successful Blogging To The Bank ebook
and has made making money online a whole lot easier for everyone.

Just over a year after the success of his first book he is now
releasing his second helping to wet our appetites and keep the fat
bucks rolling in.

I got this book and soon as I could and it covers quite a lot of
new information and techniques to adapt your blog to the new
demands of the major search engines. Many of the techniques in the
old book are now dated and don’t work so well. This is why Blogging
To The Bank 2.0 is a godsend.

Also this guy doesn’t consider himself to be a “guru”, he’s just a
normal guy who wants to help the little guys out. I find this a
nice change as he doesn’t talk “down” to you like most of the other
guys do. He explains everything in a nice simple manor so everyone
can understand.

Saying that when he “goes off on one” it may take a few reads until
you get it but when you do it’s just shear genius. Some of the
topics in my opinion could have been covered a little more, then
others went into great detail. You also get his 5 blogging
commandments that you must follow to give you blogs the greatest
success. This should be printed out and put on the wall of
every online marketer without a doubt! His book starts off with
market research (so that you are making the most of your time) to
building your blogging empire. Everything is covered in this new
outing that helps bloggers with todays online issues regarding
making the all mighty search engines happy.

Final Verdict: if you are out there in the blogging world and want
to make money the easy way then I highly recommend Blogging To The
Bank 2.0. Why work harder than you need to as the new techniques
are there ready for you to simply implement.

Blogging To The Bank 2 teaches you Robs new step by step blueprint
to creating highly profitable long term niche blogs using the
newest optimization techniques. There’s even a section on advanced
Search Engine Optimization. Most people think SEO is difficult but
Rob explains this nice and simply so even the blogging newbie will
understand it.

Blogging To The Bank 2 is a breath of fresh air and I highly
recommend it to anyone wanting to make easy money online.
